List of Ingredients




3/4 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups flour


Recipe



Cream together butter and sugar. Stir eggs in to mixture until blended. Add
vanilla and mix well. Stir together dry ingredients. Add dry ingredients to
creamed mixture and mix together until it forms a firm dough. Wrap the dough
in wax paper and chill 1 hour. Roll dough out on a floured surface to 1/8
inch thick. Cut cookies in to desired shapes. Place cookies on a greased
baking sheet. Decorate before baking with colored sprinkles if desired. Bake
at 375 degrees F for 6 to 8 minutes. Ice cookies if desired.
