    Oriental Beef (crockpot)

    List of Ingredients





    1-2 lb. stew beef
    10 1/2 oz. can condensed beef consomme (broth)
    1 bunch green onions, diced
    1/4 c. good soy sauce
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    2 T. cornstarch
    2 T. water
    1 sm. pkg. frozen snow peas

    Recipe



    Combine beef, soup, onions, soy sauce and ginger in crockpot. Cover
    and cook on low setting for 7 hr. Turn to HIGH and cook for 1/2 hr.

    Mix cornstarch and water after the 1/2 hr., add to crockpot and
    stir. Cook on HIGH 10-15 more minutes, until sauce is thickened.
    Drop in partially thawed snow peas.

    Serve over hot rice. Serves 4-6.
