1 box chocolate Jiffy cake mix (makes only one layer )
3 oz. pkg. chocolate pudding, instant or cooked type
1 can cherry pie filling
1 sm. Cool Whip
OR (better yet ) 1 pint whipping cream, whipped with 3-4 T. powdered sugar
finely chopped nuts
Recipe
Make cake mix according to directions. Bake in 13x9" pan; cool thoroughly.
Make the pudding. Spread pudding over cake. Spread pie filling on top of pudding. Spread Cool Whip or whipped cream on top. Sprinkle nuts on top. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
