MELT-IN-YOUR-MOUTH SUGAR COOKIES

List of Ingredients






1 c butter, softened
1 c oil
1 c sugar
1 c sifted confectioners' sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
5-1/2 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cream of tartar



Recipe



combine butter, oil, sugar, and confectioners' sugar. Beat well at medium
speed. Add eggs one at a time, beat after each. Add vanilla. Combine the
dry ingredients. Add to first mixture and mix well. Shape into 1" balls.
Place on ungreased cookie sheets and flatten with a glass dipped in sugar.
Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes. Cool on wire racks. makes 8 dozen
