Peanut Butter Cake
List of Ingredients
3/4 c butter
3/4 c creamy peanut butter
2 c firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
3 eggs
2 c flour
1 T baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 c milk
Frosting (below)
1/2 c chopped peanuts
FROSTING
6 oz pkg chocolate chips
1/3 c evaporated milk
1-1/2 c confectioners' sugar
Recipe
FROSTING
Combine chips and milk in saucepan. Place over low heat until melted,
stirring constantly. Stir in sugar and beat until smooth.
Cake:
Combine butter and peanut butter in mixing bowl. Cream well. Add sugar and
beat well. Add vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
Stir together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to butter
mixture alternately with milk. Beat well. Place in greased 13x9 pan. Bake
at 350 for 45-50 minutes, till a toothpick in the center tests done. When
cool, spread with frosting and sprinkle with peanuts
