List of Ingredients
- 1/2 cup catsup or chili sauce
- 2 large eggs, or 1/2 cup egg substitute
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/3 cup uncooked oatmeal
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley,
or 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh oregano,
or 3/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 2 pounds lean ground turkey
Recipe
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Prepare a 5x9-inch loaf
pan with non-stick pan spray.
Combine all the ingredients except the turkey in a large mixing
bowl. Add the turkey and mix until well blended. Place the
turkey mixture in the prepared pan and shape into a loaf.
Bake for 1 hour, or until a meat thermometer registers
160 to 165 degrees F.
Allow the loaf to cool 5 to 10 minutes before slicing in
1/2-inch slices. Extra slices are good for sandwiches.
