Salisbury Steak w/ Onion Mushroom Gravy

List of Ingredients
1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1/4 c. beef gravy (jarred or
homemade)
1 egg
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
1/4 t. onion powder
1 small onion, thinly sliced
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
10 oz. beef gravy (remainder from jar, or use homemade)
1/4 c. water
Recipe
Mix together:
1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1/4 c. beef gravy (jarred or
homemade)
1 egg
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
1/4 t. onion powder
2. Mix well.
3. Shape into 6 oval patties.
4. Spray a large skillet with:
non-stick cooking spray
5. Brown patties over medium
heat for 4-5 minutes on each
side.
6. Remove from skillet and
keep warm.
7. In the same skillet, add:
1 small onion, thinly sliced
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms,
sliced
8. Saute until tender.
9. Add:
10 oz. beef gravy (remainder
from jar, or use homemade)
1/4 c. water
10. Simmer for 1 minute.
11. Return beef patties to
skillet.
12. Cover and cook another
10 minutes, or until beef is
cooked to desired doneness.
Note: for additional gravy to
serve over mashed potatoes,
add an additional 1-2 cups of
beef gravy.
