    2 (6 oz) beef tip or eye round steaks
    1 tbsp oil
    1 tsp dried basil leaves, crushed
    1 garlic clove, minced
    Salt and pepper
    1 medium onion, sliced, separated into rings

    Recipe



    Place steaks in shallow dish. Drizzle both sides with oil;
    sprinkle with basil and garlic. Let stand 10 minutes. Fry
    steaks in medium non stick skillet over medium-high heat.
    Cook 3 to 5 minutes on each side or until steaks are well
    browned and of desired doneness. Transfer steaks to
    platter. Salt and pepper to taste. Add onion rings to
    skillet; stir-fry about 1 minute or until crisp-tender.
    Serve with steaks.
