1 cup flour
1 egg lightly beaten
1 cup milk approx
1/2 tsp baking powder

Sieve flour into medium bowl. Make well in centre. Gradually whisk or stir in egg and milk to make a smooth batter. Alt combine flour egg and milk in a blender or processor and blend till mixture is combined and smooth. Heat heavy pan for a few minutes till very hot. Add half tsp butter or use a cooking spray. Pour 2-3 tbls of batter from jug into centre of pan, quickly tilt pan so batter runs to edge. Cook till golden and then place on cloth or brown other side.
