    List of Ingredients




    ¼ cup chopped onion
    2 tablespoons butter or margarine
    1 can (11 ounces) condensed Cheddar cheese soup
    ½ cup milk
    1 tablespoon prepared mustard
    ¼ teaspoon salt
    Generous dash pepper
    3 cups cooked elbow macaroni
    2 tablespoons buttered bread crumbs



    Recipe



    In saucepan, cook onion in butter until tender; blend in soup. Gradually stir in milk, mustard, salt, and pepper; add macaroni. Pour into 1½-quart casserole. Bake at 400 degrees F. for 25 minutes or until hot; stir. Top with crumbs; bake 5 minutes more. Makes about 4 cups
