Pasta with Italian Sausage, Tomato and C

List of Ingredients
2 T. olive oil
1 lb. hot Italian sausage (can use turkey Italian sausage)
1 onion, diced
2-4 cloves garlic, minced
28 oz. can plum tomatoes, drained
1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
1 c. heavy cream
1/2 tsp. salt
12 oz. package bowtie, rigatoni, or rotini
Recipe
Heat olive in saucepan or saute pan and add sausage, removed from casing. Add onion and
saute, breaking up sausage with spoon. When no pink remains, add garlic and saute
briefly. Add tomatoes and red pepper and cook over med high heat, breaking up tomatoes
for 5 mins. or until most liquid is evaporated. Add cream and salt and cook briefly over med high heat until sauce thickens lightly.
At start of preparing sauce, bring water to boil. Add pasta to boiling water at about
the same time you add tomatoes to sauce. Pasta will be ready when sauce is done.
Note: meal will be ready in less than 30 minutes!
