8 brats
3 med. onions sliced
2 Tbsp. veg. oil
1/2 tsp. salt
12 oz. can beer
2 garlic cloves sliced

Brown brats on grill about 10 mins. While brats brown, saute onions and garlic in oil in
large saucepan on grill 2 to 3 mins.; stir in salt and beer; heat to boiling. Add brats; cover and keep saucepan on side of grill to heat. Serve on toasted buns.
Note: Another variation is to boil the brats in beer, onions, and garlic for about 10 minutes. Then
grill them until brown. Note: When using pre-cooked brats, grill brats about 2 mins.
