Shredded Pot Roast Beef Tacos

1 pound cooked shredded pot roast beef
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried minced onion
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
dash garlic powder
1/2 cup water
12 taco shells
2 cups shredded lettuce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Recipe
Saute' in 3 T. juice from pot roast beef or good olive oil; add chili powder, salt, minced
onion, paprika, onion powder and garlic powder. Cook just until onion is softened. Mix
in the shredded pot roast beef** and cook over medium-low heat just until heated
through.
Heat up the taco shells in a 375F oven for about 5 minutes or microwave flour tortillas in 5 second intervals for soft tacos.
Build each taco by spooning 2 to 3 T. meat into a warm shell. Spread some of the shredded lettuce over the meat and then sprinkle some cheese over the top. Repeat with the remaining ingredients and serve immediately.
Makes 12 shredded pot roast beef tacos
*Note: You can make this with 1 1/2 lb. shredded pot roast beef and 1/2 pkg.
McCormick's taco seasoning instead of the other misc. spices listed above.
