    From a leaflet called: "Favorite Potato Recipes from Betty Crocker",
    from 1978.

    List of Ingredients





    1 pkg. Betty Crocker hash browns with onions
    4 c. hot water
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1/4 c. milk
    2 tbsp. Gold medal all purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper




    Recipe



    Cover potatoes with hot water in 2 1/2 quart bowl; let stand
    uncovered for 15 minutes. Drain thoroughly on paper towels. Grease
    heated griddle if necessary. Mix potatoes, eggs, milk, flour, salt,
    and pepper. Drop mixture by tablespoonfuls onto hot griddle. Cook
    until golden on both sides, about 3 minutes a side. 16 cakes.
