***Country Chicken and Biscuits***
List of Ingredients
16 oz. bag frozen mixed veggies
1 1/4 c. chopped onions
1 1/4 c. chopped celery
2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans chicken broth
1/3 c. corn starch
3/4 c. cold water
6 c. cooked cut-up chicken
3 1/3 c. bisquick
1 c. milk
Recipe
Heat oven to 400. Cook the veggies, onions, celery, and broth til
tender. Heat to boiling. Stir the corn starch into the cold water
until dissolved, then stir into the broth mixture. Heat to boiling,
stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute, then remove from heat.
Stir in the chicken and pour into a 13x9" pan. Stir bisquick and milk
until soft dough forms. Drop by tsp. on top of chicken mixture. Bake
uncovered 25-30 minutes til golden.
