TEXICAN SALAD RECIPE

List of Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
16-ounce can kidney beans, undrained
6-ounce can (dry weight) small pitted black olives,
drained
2 cups shredded lettuce
2 cups chopped tomatoes
2 cups chopped avocados
2 cups (8 ounces) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 cup green onion slices
1 8-ounce bottle Thousand Island dressing
1 8-ounce bag tortilla chips, broken
Recipe
Spray frying pan with nonstick cooking spray. When
warm, put in ground beef and break up into small
pieces as it browns. Drain out fat and juices. Stir in
the undrained beans and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir
drained olives into meat and beans. Combine lettuce,
tomatoes, avocados, cheese, green onion slices and
toss lightly into the meat mixture. Add dressing and
broken tortilla chips; lightly stir this into the
mixture. Serve immediately.
