    FRESH STRAWBERRY SYRUP

    List of Ingredients






    1 pt. strawberries, hulled, halved, mashed slightly
    1 c sugar
    3/4 c light corn syrup

    Recipe



    Cook berries over medium heat, stirring, till it comes to a boil. Line
    strainer with cheesecloth, place over large bowl. Pour in hot berries, mash
    with back of spoon. Return juice to pan. Add sugar and corn syrup. Cook
    over medium heat to full boil. Boil one minute. Skim foam with metal spoon.
    Store in refrigerator.
