Pie Crust
List of Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups sifted flour
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 2 1/2 tablespoons ice water
Instructions
- Blend ingredients into dough and chill for at least 1 hour before rolling.
- After rolling & placing into pie pan, return to refrigerator to chill again before filling & baking.
Final Comments
This pie crust works equally well for other pie recipes. It is the one that I've used all my life.
