    • 1 CUP BUTTER
    • 4 CUPS FLOUR
    • 2 CUPS SUGAR
    • 4 TSP. BAKING POWDER
    • 6 EGGS
    • 1 1/2 TSP. VANILLA


    Instructions


    1. CREAM BUTTER AND SUGAR TOGETHER.
    2. ADD EGG YOLKS AND BEAT.
    3. MIX BAKING POWDER WITH FLOUR AND SIFT.
    4. ADD ALTERNATELY MILK AND FLOUR. ADD VANILLA AND FOLD IN STIFFLY-BEATEN EGG WHITES.
    5. BAKE IN 3 8 INCH LAYER PANS AT 350 DEGREES FOR 25-35 MINUTES
    6. ICE WITH CARAMEL ICING
